A wet week

Well that was a very wet week. Not a great deal done outside the pollytunnels. I did get the hoe out on Tuesday afternoon but after that it became a swamp rather quickly. The rocket potatoes under the fleece are enjoying the rain .In the tunnels I dug the last of the spuds up (wish I planted more) not very big but the taste of your 1st potatoes is something to die for. The asparagus is getting a cut once a week. Some of the tomatoes and strawberries are starting to come into flower so spring is in the air somewhere.

Flowers  in the tunnel ,I have lost the packet and forgot what they are (we have all done it)
Lettuce and broad beans growing nicely

Plenty of leeks potted on also beans calabrese and more lettuce. On the right is a patch of spring onions
